The Aetherverse is a project I've wanted to create for a long time, it's essentially a fictional universe that I can continuously build upon with each season (EP) telling it's own self contained story! This is the pilot and explores the story of a girl named Mizuki!

Mizuki awakened to a mysterious forest that was rich in colours of jade. Unaware of where or who she was, she set off at a gingerly pace to explore the forest around her. She was singing carefree as she delved further into the depths. Ahead of her she heard a strange sound. It was as if the sound called out to her and she followed after it through a thick wall of vines. At the other side she was met by the source of the mysterious sound. Suddenly the forest began to sing to her, she closed her eyes and became bewildered with the feeling it brought upon her. It was as if the forest was reciting tales of her youth, and she could somehow hear her own memories. Time then started to feel as if it was slowing down, and the singing got quieter and quieter until it was nothing more than a distant cry. Her eyes opened. All that surrounded her now was a silent, viridiscent ruin.

Noisia style neurofunk meets glitch hop, IDM, jazz, world, ambient, elevator music, and who knows what else. This amalgam of genres has no right to work, but KOAN Sound somehow pulled it off, creating perhaps one of the most innovative albums ever. omg, this is awesome! i have been a huge tipper fan a long time, albums like broken soul jamboree & forward escape are rare electronic masterpieces. i have listen to this more than 100 times and i can detect always more layers...so ful of details in the background...a class of it's own, music and production are not from this world! dub orange
